Advisor Academy
The Advisor Academy is a series of events exclusively for chapter advisors focused on high-level learning and inspiration. Delivered both virtually as conference-style events in-person as drive-in-style events, each session is an opportunity to hear from Beta staff, keynote presenters and other volunteers on a variety of topics that are essential to highly successful advising efforts.
Advisor Academy Highlights
Advisor Academy sessions often include face time with the Fraternity’s most senior staff and volunteers. Most importantly, though, are the opportunities for networking with and learning from fellow advisors.
In addition to kickoff and keynote speakers, 2022’s Advisor Academy will include several important breakout sessions for attendees to pick from, including:

- Navigating Student Mental Health
- Planning Safe Chapter Events
- Strong Officer Transitions
- Creating an Inclusive Brotherhood
- And more!

Incentive
Advisors who complete the event will receive a $50 gift card as a “thank you” for their dedication to Beta’s chapters and to help defray any costs of attendance. Advisory teams that have two or more advisors complete the event will receive a $200 gift card to help support the cost of advisory board development.

Advisor Drive-Ins
In addition to Advisor Academy, the Fraternity hosts several “Advisor Drive-Ins” throughout the year, which are in-person, geography-based programs. These events are designed for participation based on the host city, and invitations are distributed to eligible advisors.
Who: Chapter advisors within a 4-hour radius (Invitations to be sent to eligible advisors)
When: October 9 | 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. ET
Cost: The event is free for all advisors to attend. The Fraternity will provide meals, snacks and supplies. Optional happy hour to take place after.
